Alyson Lapan {the dilettante​}

I sometimes wish my art “said something,”

but the creation of it does for me so I guess that has to be enough.

I am constantly amazed and delighted by the concept that

I can translate visual stimuli into a physical interpretation

that can be understood by others, using colored pastes and objects.

Or, as I said to my husband recently,

“my eyeball tells my brain some stuff

and then my hand remembers it with some gunk.”

Amazing.
