Alyson Lapan {the dilettante​}

Because I worked in stained glass professionally for 15 years, I had time to get inspired more than once.

It's harder to do right now because of the lack of time and work space. You need to have a room that can be separate from the living quarters because of toxic chemicals, and you certainly need good ventilation! I'm sure I'll get back to this at some point, though, because I greatly enjoyed the medium.

Incidentally, the pieces shown here are built and designed by me. In shops, I generally built work designed by a staff artist, which is why I tend to call myself an artisan rather than an artist as regards the field of glass.
